Cracked Wheels
cracked but not defeated
Potholes and curbs can also cause cracks. With the right process, many cracked wheels can be repaired safely.
Our method, developed by an aviation welder and inspector, relies on precision TIG welding using a Miller Dynasty TIG machine. This allows fine control over aluminum wheel repair.
Key Steps
100% Argon shielding gas with a specialized tip keeps welds clean
Correct filler rods are used to match factory specifications
Repairs are completed by technicians with years of TIG welding experience
Each crack is unique. Our technicians make the final determination on safety, but many repaired wheels have safely remained on the road for years.
