I was recommended to NW Wheel and Tire by a fellow car enthusiast who praised their powder coating work. I was looking to have the original brake calipers from my 1990 Nissan Skyline restored in preparation for a full braking system overhaul. I disassembled and stripped them to the best of my ability and brought them in.

The finished calipers looked like something out of an automotive magazine; beautiful color and finish. The guys at NW Wheel & Tire even took up my request of detailing the Nissan logo to stand out a bit.

They also took great care to leave the calipers spotless on the inside, making the task of reassembling the brakes a breeze for me.

I’ve been coming to Northwest Wheel & Tire for years, and these guys have always treated me right. The crew works hard, the customer service is great, and I’ve honestly never had a bad experience here.

This time around, I actually bought my tires from another local tire shop. They were having an inventory clearance yard sale in their parking lot, and I happened to find a really good deal on a set of tires, so I couldn’t pass it up. Normally, I would have bought my tires from Northwest, and I’ll continue to do so in the future.

The tires on my vehicle were getting pretty bad and actually starting to come apart from age. I happened to be right next to Les Schwab when I noticed it, and I didn’t feel comfortable driving all the way across town like that, so I stopped in and asked what they would charge to put the new tires on.

I was quoted $225 just to swap the tires.

I thought, screw that—I’d rather spend my money locally. I took the tires over to Northwest Wheel & Tire, and they did the job for less than half of what I was quoted at Les Schwab. They also put new tire stems on all four wheels while they were doing the installation.

I’m not trying to bash Les Schwab. They were simply convenient because I happened to be right next door when I needed them. But if I have the choice, I’d much rather keep my money here in Central Oregon and support local businesses.

I recommend Northwest Wheel & Tire to my clients, family, and friends all the time, and I have yet to hear anyone have a bad experience with them.

Excellent service and knowledgeable, trustworthy tire shop. I am new to the area and am glad I found NW Wheel and Tire. They did a great job swapping my stock tires out with my All Terrain tires. I just don't get why the folks here are so dang functional. Why are they always so professional, prompt, knowledgeable and consistent? They keep doing consistently good quality work and provide rational advice. They even communicate well when they fall a little behind during the busy season. I can't even get them to charge me for a tire puncture repair! They don't even make fun of me when I forget my wheel lugs at home. I'll just have to keep coming back here season after season, year after year, as long as Cooper and Dylan and the rest of the crew keep working here. That might take some pay raises, why not? Solid, high quality business. I appreciate the great service.
