The guys at NW Wheel recommended having my rims polished.  The wheels came back looking fantastic.  As a final touch, Austin powder coated the spokes and hubs to match the car color (black). Couldn’t be happier,  the look and the feel and function of both lifts and new tires are perfect. I couldn’t be happier and would definitely take my vehicles here again.    Chris also helped me on some powder coating on the front row hooks of my Tremor. I wanted them In the Tremor orange and he was able to find a color that matched very well. You turn to NW Wheel and Tire and they make them look new again.  Then, not one week later, you notice ANOTHER huge chunk taken out of the right front rim!  Besides someone who is 17 years old that isn't going to get anything for Christmas, you call NWWT and they save the day again.  You get the wheel back, drive proudly around with them, and then notice that the paint isn't adhering to the powder coating like it should.  You email the company (and send pictures) and eventually hear from Dave (the owner) and he write this: "...I'd like to redo all four of them at no cost to you..."  IS THIS NOT EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR????? Then, when you go to pick them up, all involve notice a fairly faint blemish that shouldn't be there and THEY AGREE AGAIN TO RESHOOT THAT WHEEL AND COVER THE COST OF SHIPPING IT  BACK TO ME: it just shows up one day on my porch looking perfect, like the other three.  Hats off to Dave and Cooper and Christian.  Trust me: even if there was someone local who could do the kind of work NWWT does (there isn't), when the BBS wheels that came stock on my 2012 Mitsubishi Evo MR need attention, you know where I am going, even if it takes me six hours round trip to get to them and back. A couple of years ago, I had them refurbish my Motegi 2-piece wheels on my ‘04 Pontiac GTO and they came out stellar! Most recently, they also redid the wheels on my 2012 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe and they look incredible!! Unfortunately, my car was hit in their parking lot by another customer. I know that’s not on them at all. They went out of their way to reach out to me as sokn as it happened and to stay in contact with me until the car got on a flatbed to a body shop for it to get looked at. Everyone was so friendly, the shop is always so clean everytime I’m there, and their prices are hard to beat for what they do! I did powder coating for years at one of my previous jobs so I know how hard of a job that can be! Thank you guys again and I’ll definitely be back to do more business with y’all! 5 STARS!

Why?

Powder Coat

Changing your wheel color can dramatically improve your vehicle’s appearance. Powder coating is a durable, long-lasting finish that often outperforms the factory original.

What is Powder Coating?

The Powder

The coating starts as a fine, flour-like powder made of special resin particles. It’s sprayed using compressed air through a specialized powder coating gun.

The Charge

The spray gun applies a positive electrical charge to the powder as it exits. Meanwhile, the metal part being coated is connected to a grounding rod, giving it a negative charge.

Magnetic Attraction

As the positively charged powder is sprayed, it's naturally drawn to the negatively charged metal — like a magnet pulling metal in. This allows for an even, consistent coating.

The Cure

After spraying, the part looks fuzzy. It's then heated in a controlled oven cycle, which melts the powder and bonds it to the metal.

The Result

Once cooled, the part is fully cured and has reached maximum durability — ready to handle whatever comes next.
