Prevent Problems Before They Happen

Quick, Thorough, and Free

Book an appointment and we’ll inspect your vehicle in under an hour. No charge, no obligation, just peace of mind.

FAQ
What we check
Our inspections focus on the components that keep you safe on the road:
Tires: We look for irregular wear, cracks, separated belts, and tread life. We also check tire age, since tread alone doesn’t guarantee safety.

Brakes: We measure pad and rotor life and check for leaks or damage.

Wheels: We inspect for issues that compromise safety and retorque your lug nuts before you leave.

Suspension: We check for worn parts or damage that could affect handling.

Why It Matters
Some problems don’t show symptoms until it’s too late. A quick safety inspection can:
  • Catch issues early, before they lead to bigger repairs

  • Prevent unsafe driving conditions

  • Give you confidence that your vehicle is ready for the season, not just a tire change
This is preventative care for your car, designed to keep you and everyone else on the road safe.
What We DOn't Check
We do not inspect or repair engines, transmissions, transfer cases, or drivelines. If we find something outside of our scope, we’ll point you in the right direction with a trusted recommendation.
No Pressure, Just Safety
You’ll get a clear idea of your vehicle’s condition and a quote if any work is recommended. Our technicians are trained to spot real issues, not invent unnecessary repairs.

The right hazard coverage for YOU.

  • 100% of original purchase price: For three (3) years, the plan provides full reimbursement of the original tire purchase price, with no prorating applied.
  • Transferable: Coverage transferable to new ownership for the full three (3) years.
  • Covered Damage: The plan covers unrepairable damage, including non-patchable punctures and damage resulting from driving on a flat or low-air tire.
  • Coverage Term and Expiration: Coverage expires three (3) years from the purchase date or when the damaged tire's tread depth reaches 4/32".
  • Scope of Coverage: Coverage is limited to the damaged tire only. If the original tire is unavailable at the time of claim, the closest available model will be sourced as a replacement.
  • Claim Limit: Up to 4 claims per set. Tire coverage does NOT follow the tire (e.g., the same tire can be replaced twice).

Limitations to be aware of to maximize value.

  • Tire Maintenance/Wear: Tire damage caused by lack of maintenance and/or vehicle issues may void coverage.
  • All-Wheel Drive (AWD) Limitation: Outside of our store, all-wheel-drive vehicles may be required to purchase replacement tires without plan coverage. Locally, we offer complimentary tire shaving to ensure your AWD system functions correctly.
  • Replacement Labor: Labor charges for repairing or replacing a damaged tire are not covered.

Claim Procedures

  • Local Claims (Within 50 Miles): Claims originating within a 50-mile radius of our store require the damaged tire to be returned to our store for coverage processing.
  • Worldwide Claims (Outside 50 Miles): Worldwide coverage is available and requires the following documentation:
    • A picture of the unrepairable damage.
    • The replacement receipt, including shop notes that clearly explain why replacement was the responsible choice (e.g., beyond safe repair).
  • No Pre-approval: With the required documentation, no pre-approval from NW Wheel & Tire is required for the claim outside 50 miles.
  • Final Determination: NW Wheel & Tire retains final determination for all claims and will be conducted in a reasonable, fair, and good-faith manner, consistent with the rest of the stated terms. Since 2007 our goal is to build and maintain great relationships with the customers we serve and claims decisions will be guided by that principle.
